David leads Ledingham Chalmers’ Aberdeen planning team and provides specialist planning law advice to clients in the private, public and third sector. David’s work involves advising on onshore wind developments, acting for landowners and developers in option and lease agreements, and providing legal counsel through planning processes.

David speaks regularly on the topic of planning law and represents Ledingham Chalmers at external events for clients and fellow professionals. He also runs the Renewable Energy course as part of the Energy Law elective on the Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen.
